Member Spotlight
Jim Stritzinger, Director, South Carolina Broadband Office
We have four guests for this Spotlight, Jim Stritzinger, Director of the South Carolina Broadband Office, Dr. Jimmy McElligott and Sonya Ebeling, both with the Medical University of South Carolina’s Telehealth Alliance, and Kathy Schwarting, CEO of Palmetto Care Connections. The team shared an overview of a new Virtual Primary Care program that will address the “frequent flier” challenge – low-income patients with no transportation, no internet, and a critical healthcare situation that are often transported by ambulance to the ER for primary care visits. The program is being funded with BEAD non-deployment funds.
