Professional Bio
Elizabeth advises the Chairwoman on several wireline issues, including competition and infrastructure, numbering, support for schools and libraries, and pricing policy, as well as enforcement matters. She joins the office from the Wireline Competition Bureau, where she most recently served as legal advisor to the Bureau Chief and, prior to that, as attorney advisor in the Competition Policy Division. She has also worked in the Public Safety and Homeland Security Bureau on emergency alerting. Before joining the Commission, Elizabeth worked as an associate attorney at a boutique telecom law firm, dealing primarily in cable regulatory law. A Connecticut native, Elizabeth received her B.A. in International Affairs from the University of Georgia, and was the first graduate of the joint degree program from Louisiana State University with her J.D., magna cum laud, and Master of Mass Communication.
