Michael Flood is the Founder and CEO of Alpine Frog, LLC. In this role, he provides advisory and consulting services to public and private entities, primarily in the Technology, Telecom, Public Sector, and Education industries. Michael has been heavily involved in the Public Sector and EdTech community for the last 20 years. He is an active member of the Consortium on School Networking (CoSN), served six years on CoSN’s Board of Directors, and was recognized as CoSN Private Sector Champion of the Year. Michael has served on advisory boards for the Horizon K-12 Report, Driving K-12 Innovation, EdNET, WirelessEdTech, International Society for Technology in Education’s Special Interest Group – Mobile Learning (ISTE SIGML) and Digital Equity Professional Learning Network (ISTE DE-PLN). Michael is actively involved with federal, state and local policy with partners including CoSN, SETDA, SHLB, and others. Michael also serves on the Board of Directors for AIESEC Life, the alumni engagement platform for the world's largest student-run organization, AIESEC.
Michael has a BS degree in Management from Georgia Tech and an MBA from the Emory University Goizuetta Business School. Michael's personal interests include space commercialization, global macroeconomics, digital equity, cybersecurity, AI, climate resilience and the green economy, augmented/virtual/extended reality, systems thinking, futurism, game theory, and medieval dance.
