Professional Bio
Philip Neufeld is the Executive Officer of Technology Services at Fresno Unified School District. He has served in technology and board leadership roles in healthcare, agriculture, banking, and economic development. Philip left private industry to work for Fresno State, with 25,000+ students, and then Fresno Unified School District, with 70,000+ students. His experience includes enterprise infrastructure, co-leading a learning analytics collaborative facilitated by Microsoft, and co-leading since 2016 a personalized learning, blended teaching program with 800+ teachers and 50+ schools. To support modern learning, Philip rolled out leased fiber rings, Wi-Fi on buses, and private LTE. Philip shapes educational ecosystems to better prepare and empower students with knowledge, skills, dispositions, and agency to choose their #AsYetImagined futures. Philip and a local developer are developing the Loma Vista Marketplace center. Phase I has 33,500 sf leased up with an opening in 2-3 months, and Phase II has 121,000 sf leased up with a planned opening in 2025. Philip and Debbie also farm pistachios and are partners in a hospitality business, Lakeview Cottages at Huntington Lake.
