Megan Janicki

Megan Janicki is the Deputy Director, Strategic Initiatives at the American Library Association Public Policy and Advocacy office in Washington, DC. She leads ALA's work in the broadband policy, digital equity, and economic opportunity portfolios. She was the project manager for ALA's Libraries Build Business initiative and editor of the book, Libraries That Build Business. She comes to ALA with a background in workforce development, adult literacy, social services, and equity and inclusion. She holds a Master’s Degree from Vanderbilt University in Learning, Diversity, and Urban Studies, and a Bachelor’s Degree from Indiana University in sociology.
