Rachel Schemelin

Rachel Schemelin is an education consultant with the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. Rachel provides support for the state’s schools with their broadband connectivity and E-rate issues. She also works closely with other state agencies and the state’s Broadband Office to address digital equity. She serves on the Wisconsin Governor's Task Force on Broadband Access, the WiscNet Board (the state’s R&E network), and several other statewide committees that focus on providing equitable learning and educational opportunities.  From a national perspective, Rachel is the vice chair for the State E-rate Coordinators’ Alliance (SECA).
