Donna Ohr, with a transformative leadership role as Deputy Director of Communities, Strategy, & Technology for the San Diego County Library, brings a wealth of experience in driving technological and operational advancements across 33 branches. Her tenure since October 2017 has seen her effectively manage day-to-day operations and lead strategic projects that enhance service delivery and community reach. Notably, Donna spearheaded the "Stronger Together" initiative, transitioning from diesel to Zero Emission bookmobiles, and innovatively extended digital access through the distribution of "Tech Connect" kits, benefiting underserved communities. Her adeptness in securing significant grant funding, including $4.3 million from the FCC's Emergency Connectivity Fund, underscores her capability in resource management & community service advancement. Additionally, Donna's role in the integration of cutting-edge technologies like Automated Materials Handling systems illustrates her forward-thinking approach, significantly improving operational efficiency and customer service.
