Organization Overview

The Local Connectivity Lab (LCL) is a Seattle-area 501(c)(3) nonprofit, working on improving Internet connectivity and digital equity for underserved areas, both locally and internationally, using open-source technology and the framework of DIY "community networking." Our mission is to democratize the knowledge, skills, and infrastructural resources to enable our partners to run their own local, community-centered, and community-owned Internet access networks.
